fashion news | first 3D printed dress

The first 3D printed dress is a fact by now and there would not be anyone else, except for Dita Von Teese, more appropriate to wear it.

Designer Michael Schmidt and architect Francis Bitonti, designed a sculpture based on her naked body and at the end they added12,000 black Swarovski crystals on the moving parts. The dress itself gives the illussion of no underwear, although we do not what is happening underneath it for sure. Plus, the dress somehow follows the moves of her body and is exclusively designed and made for her  (unfortunately we will never have the chance to try it on). What do you think of it? I personally believe that it is a piece of art. Architecture and fashion designing working together can make miracles, and here you can see one.

Talk to you soon,
